Fun Reaction for Kids
This soccer drill focuses on developing reaction ability, agility and help ensure your players are ready to play against their opponents.
Practising these situations are also an excellent way for the coaches to teach the players a fun way to play the game while also being practical.

Organisation
Players work in pairs, who are identified with different colours.
There are two variations in the example but of course more variations can be used.
Description and Graphics
- Variation 1:
One player holds a ball in his hands. The players throw the ball to each other and they are waiting for the coach's command in the middle.
When the coach gives a signal to the players (says Hopp, or whistle, etc.), the player with the ball becomes the "Chaser", the player without the ball will be the "Runner".
The players must react as quickly as they can. The Runner has to reach either of the two small cones on the sides, the Chaser tries to catch and touch him with the ball.
If the Runner reacts and move faster, so he reaches one of the small cones, then he is the Winner, if the Chaser can manage to catch up and touch him before the line, then he is the Winner.
- Variation 2:
The players are passing the ball to each other with the sole of the foot.
When the coach gives a signal to the players (says Hopp, or whistle, etc.), the player without the ball becomes the "Chaser", the player with the ball will be the "Runner".
The players must react as quickly as they can. The Runner has to reach by dribbling the ball either of the two small cones on the sides, the Chaser tries to catch and touch the ball by his feet or he tries to tackle.
If the Runner reacts and move faster, so he reaches with the ball the one of the small cones, then he is the Winner, if the Chaser can manage to catch up and tackle him before the line, then he is the Winner.
Of course a 1v1 siutation can arise during the game, in that case the Runner with the ball can make a trick or an unpredictable movement to play out the Chaser.
