During the implementation the attackers change continuously in A-B-C-D positions, the defenders do that after determined repetitions. Of course, they can also change continuously, it depends on the coach's decision.
The attackers and defenders roles are changed periodically.
Description and Graphics
During the exercise, the attackers perform different styles of passes, receives in various body positions, feints, deceptive movements and they try to beat the defenders in 1v1 situations.
The cooperation and concentration are important factors as well.
The defenders can work in a special way:
Four defenders are located in front of the small goals, they can defend in the determined area, as shown. They are active, so they can work with 100% within the square.
Two defenders are placed on the lines of the blue cones, they can only move in width and intercept the passes. These defenders cannot turn, they always face the players of Positions A.
One defender is located in the central area, he is "passive", since he cannot tackle, only disturbs or slows down the attackers. He can only move within the area. If it's possible his role can be changed, but it depends on the ability of the attackers and the quality of the performance.
