Cones are used to mark players' positions and passing channels as well. Distances must be considered and appropriate to the given age-group. Players change their positions continuously in alphabetical order. This 1v1 soccer drill is performed to both sides in turns.
Description and Graphics
This 1v1 soccer drill is a complex one where players have to carry out passing combinations, attacking and defending movements of a 1 on 1 situation. Players also have to focus on quick decision making and awareness.
This 1v1 soccer exercise starts from Position A. Player A and B combines between the cones. After that Player B passes (5) the ball to the approaching Player C who lays the ball back (6) to Player B. Player B performs a long sharp pass (7) to Player D. Player D receives the ball and dribbles to face Player C in the middle. Player C has to defend with the correct 1v1 techniques against Player D. Attacker tries to score. When defender wins the ball he has to try to score to the goal in front.
The soccer exercise continues in the same way to the other side after the changes.
