5v5 Complex Game for Goal
This small sided soccer game focuses on practising outnumbering situations in the offensive zone.
This soccer drill also helps practise the cooperation between the parts of team, fast depth play and transition.
Organisation
In this 5v5 small sided soccer game both teams have 2 defenders and 3 attackers. The 2 defenders and the opponent's 3 attackers play in their own zone, so they can't go to the other area.
The game always starts for the coach's sign.
There is an off-side line in each zone (between the red cones), so the attackers are caught off-side beyond this lines only.
Duration: 2 min.
Rest: 1-2 min.
Description and Graphics
The coach passes the ball to one of the defenders, who tries to play fast to one of the 3 attackers in the other zone. Then starts the 3v2 small sided soccer game. The 3 attackers try to take advantage of the outnumbering situations and score goal. They make different combinations or solo attacks to outplay the opponents. When the defenders intercept the ball, they must hit one of the 3 attackers in the other zone. If the goalkeeper saves or a defender tackles and the ball leaves the pitch, the coach plays the ball to one of the attackers immediately to continue the attack fast.
