Description and Graphics
This soccer drill focuses on endurance and possession. Awareness and vision are also emphasised. Each team is numbered and they change role continuously. One team begins in possession. One of the other teams begins in defence. At coach's command possessing team in the area starts to combine without defenders. At the sign first player from the defending group sprints towards the cone in front and back and accelerates into the area turning around the blue cone. When the first defender reaches the area the next starts the same movements at maximum intensity. Team in possession tries to keep the ball against the growing number of defending team. When the defending team wins the ball they switch to possession, and the third team begins its defending task with the same sprints. Team losing possession jogs to the outside position replacing the defenders.
