Cooperation - Penetrating Passes
This small sided soccer game focuses on cooperation of players, possession and performing accurate penetrating passes in the right time.
Organisation
Cones are used to mark an appropriate sized area according to the number of players.
This soccer game can be played with various number of players. Sticks or big cones are used to mark four small goals in the corner of the playing area as shown.
Two teams are split into two and identified with different colors. One or two neutral players can also be involved into the small sided soccer game. Two players from each teams are placed outside the playing field as wingers. They change their positions and roles with the inside players continuously after a performed penetrating pass.
Description and Graphics
Teams try to keep possession and create passing opportunities through the small goals to their wingers. Both teams can attack all of the goals.
It's a normal game, so after interception the roles are changed immediately.
When the attacking team succeeds in playing the winger by the penetrating pass, he has to play the ball back into the area and the possession continues again. The player who performed the penetrating pass runs out to replace the position of the winger. When the ball is out or the penetrating pass is inaccurate, the coach restarts the game by giving a ball into the area.
