Organisation
Cones are used to create an adequate sized playing field, which is divided 4 zones + 2 goal areas, as shown.
Poles or mannequins are placed on the half line of the playing field.
Two teams of five take part in this soccer game.
Players have different roles in each positions. The roles and positions are changed periodically.
In the presented game there are only field players, but the exercise can be performed with normal sized goals and goalkeepers.
Description and Graphics
The exercise always starts from the positions 'A' by turns.
Both teams have an attacking direction.
When the action is finished or the ball is out from the playing field, the coach restarts the exercise by passing a ball to one of the Positions 'A'.
Players can only leave their areas with restrictions. When Player 'A' acts with the ball in his own zone, the opponent Player 'B' and 'C' cannot attack or disturb him. Player 'E' can only defend in his area until the attackers pass the ball through the zone to their team-mates, Player 'D'. When it's managed, Player 'E' must turn and put pressure on the ball leaving his area. Meanwhile Player 'B' and 'C' sprint to support Player 'D' in attack.
