This soccer drill also focuses on practising cooperation of two players while defending.
Organisation
Players and equipment are arranged as shown.
Cones are used to mark 4 squares. Name 4 six-man teams and identify them with different colours. All players have a number from 1 to 6 in the teams.

Description and Graphics
This soccer drill focuses on possession, decision making, reaction and cooperation. All the teams start this small sided soccer game in their own squares at the same time. Players perform accurate passes to each other and move continuously. When the coach calls 2 numbers (for example 3,4) and a direction, the players who are signed with these numbers sprint in a determined direction to the opponents' square and they try to intercept the ball. So 4v2 games start in all squares. The 4 players possess the ball with maximum 2 touches and the 2 defenders must intercept it at a limited interval (30-60 sec). When the defenders intercept the ball they pass it back and the 4v2 game continues till the end of the interval. After that they go back to their own area and the soccer drill starts in the same way.
