Organisation
Three hurdles are placed in a row in a distance of a half a meter.
One stick is placed 10 meters apart of the last hurdle.
Players perform this soccer dribbling drill continuously.
Every player has a ball.
Turning around the stick must be performed to both directions.
Description and Graphics
This simple soccer dribbling drill contains two variations but it can be performed with a lot of different techniques. Player stands with the ball behind the first hurdle. At coach's command he passes the ball under the hurdles to be able to reach it before the stick. After the pass he jumps over the hurdles with a determined technique and sprints to reach the ball. After receiving it at speed he dribbles and turns around the stick with a determined technique. After turning back he accelerates with ball to the line of the hurdle.
Variation
- Take the soccer dribbling drill competitive.
- Create two equal sized set up zones and split the team into two.
- Two teams compete with each other.
