Feints, Combinations and Accurate Finishes

This finishing progression focuses on dribbling and feinting skills, practicing combination play and penetrative passes in front of the penalty area.
This activity also helps develop first touch, close control and the technique of shots on goal.

Organisation

Players work in two groups, they are arranged as shown. The groups change sides periodically.
The balls are in the Positions 'A'. 
3-3 poles mark the paths of the the zig-zag dribbling and feinting on both sides.
The mannequins help the player to practice the timing and angles of the supporting movements and combinations.
Players change their positions in alphabetical order during the exercise.

Description and Graphics

The players always start by dribbling the ball from position 'A'. 
They make different feints in front of the poles, change directions and dribble toward the first mannequin. 
Then the 3 players make different combinations and one of them finishes the action.
After a period of time or determined number of actions, the coach can give freedom the players to increase creativity so they can decide the passing paths and movements during the combinations.
