Finishing After Deep Pass and Crossing

This functional soccer finishing exercise focuses on practising deep passes and shooting on goal after breaking the defending line and finishing after crosses.
This soccer drill also emphasises practising combinations in the middle and on the flanks.

Organisation

Groups of three are placed on the flanks and in the middle as shown. Players change their positions in their groups continuously. One middle group begin the progression with a determined combination and one of the side groups cooperate with them in the correct rhythm. After finishing in the middle one of the wide players perform a crossing after their combination. Determine that when should wide players begin their combinations.

Description and Graphics

Two variations are performed in the middle to break the defending line and pass the ball into space to the attacker who shoots on goal. Also two variations are performed to prepare crossing opportunities.
