Organisation

Cones and sticks are placed as shown. Distances and size of the area have to be considered carefully and created adequately to the given age-group.

Players work in pairs, they change roles periodically.

Description and Graphics

Attackers are in Position A and defenders are in Position B. Defender in Position B holds a ball.

The finishing exercise starts when coach gives a sign anddefender dribbles the ball into the middle, attacker also moves inside. Defender stops the ball in the marked area. Attacker moves into the middle and tries to reach the stopped ball as soon as he can. Attacker dribbles directly towards the goal. After leaving the ball in the area defender sprints and turns around the stick as shown, he tries to put pressure on the attacker or intercept the ball. Attacker's aim is to finish the exercise with a goal.
