Combining Long and Short Passes 2
This soccer passing drill focuses on practising short and long passes on the ground, developing complex combinations and improving the timing of passes and supporting movements.
Organisation
Equipment and players are arranged as shown.
Distances of the players' position and the sticks must be counted and planned according to the age-group and players' technical skills.
8 or 10 players can take part in the exercise for the optimal execution.
Put two or more players in Positions A and D, since the soccer drill starts from that points at the same time. Players change their positions continuously in alphabetical order following their passes.
All the three variations are performed to both directions and the tasks are executed with two balls simultaneously.
