This complex soccer passing exercise emphasizes innervating the overlapping and practising combinations in a fluid playing style. The exercise also focuses on deep passing patterns, passing channels, cooperation between players, and supporting movements without the ball.

Organisation

In this session players and equipment are arranged as shown. Distances of the players' position and the sticks must be calculated and planned according to the age-group and players' technical skills. Sticks are placed to draw the passing channels and stimulate the defenders' positions. At least 16 players must take part in the exercise for an optimal execution. 2 fixed players are located in the determined corners as shown. When the exercise is performed in the opposite direction the fixed players must be placed to the other corners. Players change their positions in alphabetical order continuously, the fixed players are changed periodically. This soccer passing drill is executed with two balls.

Description and Graphics

In case the players' abilities require it, they can receive the ball instead of one-touch play but they must harmonize the overlappings and supporting movements to the situations.
