In this soccer passing exercise the emphasis is laid on developing basic passing and receiving skills, awareness and vision of the players.
This soccer passing drill also helps to develop cognitive abilities, head orientation and quick decision making.

Organisation

Players work in a group of four.
Four cones are placed to mark the positions  and one pole or mannequin is placed in the middle as shown.
The three outside players change positions continuously, the inside one's position  is replaced periodically.
The soccer drill is played with two balls at the same time and it's performed to both directions.

Description and Graphics

It's very important that the outside players always have to move to the empty space after passing, immediately.
The inside player must concentrate, since the soccer drill is performed with two balls.

See In Download In  In Variation 1 the soccer drill starts by Player C passing the ball (1) to the inside Player D, then moves towards the free corner. Player D rolls with the ball (2) to Player A's direction and plays it (3) to him. Player A performs a quick back and forth pass (4-5) with Player C. Meanwhile - after his pass (3) - Player D turns and moves toward Player B to asks for the other ball. Player B passes to D (4) and runs to the free space. Player D rolls with the ball (5) to Player C's direction and plays it (6) to him. Player C performs a quick back and forth pass (7-8) with Player B. Then the soccer drill continues the same way.
