Pass and Move Activation
The goal of this exercise is to develop movement coordination, running technique, and reaction ability in a ball-oriented environment.
The drill enhances neuromuscular activation, rhythm of movement, and helps prepare players for the main part of the training session.

Organisation
- Number of players: ideally 16 players (divided into 4 groups of 4).
- Area: diamond-shaped practice field (approx. 12–15 m side length).
- Equipment: cones, poles, 1 mannequin in the centre, balls.
- The four groups position themselves opposite each other on the four sides of the diamond.
- The first player from each line starts simultaneously and runs toward the centre.
- At the poles and at the final station, players work with balls.
Description and Graphics
All four players start at the same time toward the centre, performing various running movements between the designated cones (e.g., high knees, skipping, heel lifts). After touching the mannequin in the middle, they move diagonally to the right or left and perform slalom movements between three poles with different coordination tasks (e.g., quick footwork, lateral movements).
After the poles, they arrive at a station where a teammate is waiting with a ball:
- they either receive a flat pass and return it with one touch, or they head back a tossed ball with precision.
After completing the action, the player rotates and switches places with the teammate holding the ball, then joins the end of the line. The drill runs continuously and cyclically, with all four directions working at the same time.
