Short and Long Passing Combinations
This soccer drill focuses on practising short and long passes on the ground and one-touch combinations.
The passing activity also emphasizes developing the cooperation between players, the supporting movements and reaction ability.

Equipment and players are arranged as shown.
This soccer passing activity can be performed at least 10 players.
Distances of the poles and mannequins are set up according to the abilities of the players and the given age category.
Players change their positions continuously in alphabetical order following their passes.
The passing drill is performed with two or three balls simultaneously.
For the optimal execution and process 3 players have to be placed in position 'A'.
The tasks have to be performed to both directions.
Description and Graphics
The progression is started from position 'A'. Players should start the exercise at moderate intensity, and raise the tempo of execution gradually. Before the progression starts a detailed explanation have to be taken, and players should make slow demo play with the lead of the coach. The second ball starts from position 'A' during the 9th-10th pass of the first ball. The timing and angles of movements is very important.
