Endurance - Speed - Passing and Shooting Skills
This complex soccer training program focuses on improving endurance, speed, awareness, the passing and shooting skills.
The session also helps to develop the players' concentration, orientation and basic tactical knowledge.
Beyond the last soccer finishing drill, the goalkeepers can work with a coach or they can take part in the exercises as field players to develop their skills.
Warm up
The players perform light jogging and easy movements with and without the ball at first.
The second part of the warming up process focuses on developing coordination: balance, harmony of movements and prepare for the training's main part.
Two players begin the soccer drill from Position A and B. In front of the agility ladder they perform light jogging. Over the ladders players perform determined movements in determined directions. After reaching the end of the ladders they get a pass from Position A and B, they have to receive the ball and dribble to the cones in front to replace the player and become a server. Players who have made the passes begin their movements in the same way. Exercise should be performed at 50-60% intensity. The key of the task is the variations over the ladder. Players have to perform different movements to develop their basic coordination skills.
